Just a stone’s throw from the Forst brewery, to which it is connected by a wooden bridge, our Braugarten maintains the principles and traditions of the FORST brewery: tradition and a love of nature – but also hard work in order to ensure that the quality of our products remains consistently high. Tradition and progress are our brewery’s guiding principles – and the Braugarten is where we apply these every day.
IN THE SHADE OF THE
OLD CHESTNUT TREES
This is where we serve a selection of hot, traditional South Tyrolean dishes all day. Lovingly prepared using the finest ingredients, sourced primarily from the surrounding area using local producers and suppliers. Typical South Tyrolean fare, hearty pork knuckles, gently cooked roasts, Schlutzkrapfen (pasta pockets) and dumplings all reflect the traditions of our region: simple yet substantial dishes for which our cuisine is renowned far beyond our borders!
By way of accompaniment for the delicious fare served in the Braugarten, we serve seven different types of beer, all freshly tapped and brought to your table straight from the cellars of the FORST brewery – expertly drawn from the cask by our experienced bar staff and topped with a magnificent head!
Discover the genuine hospitality of the Reiterer family, the long-standing managers of Braugarten and their skilled team, or come and celebrate with us: on Sunday afternoons the Braugarten Forst hosts a variety of events, such as brass band concerts or folk music, as well as sports broadcasts on our big screens!
